Do you want to work on architecture and development alongside some of Norway’s most experienced .NET engineers? Novanet is building Norway’s strongest .NET environment – and is now looking for senior developers! Work as Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead, Architect, or Technical Advisor.
About Novanet
- Novanet is a senior technology consultancy specializing in .NET, architecture, and advisory services.
- The company counts around 40 experienced developers in Oslo, typically with 7–30 years of experience (average ~15).
- They work with some of Norway’s most recognized brands – including NRK, IF, RiksTV, Thon Hotels, and Huddly – delivering top-tier consultants in software development, architecture, and technology leadership.
- Novanet is part of NOVA Consulting Group, a Nordic digital consultancy with 13 specialised companies and over 600 experts across Norway, Sweden, and Poland.
The Role
You’ll join a senior environment where deep technical expertise, knowledge sharing, and advisory work are at the core.
Most of our assignments are backend-focused, but all consultants are profiled as fullstack, and modern frontend experience as React is a strong plus.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least 3–4 years of professional experience and strong .NET / C# skills
- Has hands-on experience with Azure, DevOps pipelines, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Enjoys working directly with clients and taking on advisory responsibilities
- Understands the business context behind technology decisions
- Is structured, reliable, and finds simple solutions to complex problems
- Contributes actively both professionally and socially to a strong team culture
Formal education is not a requirement – skill and experience matter most, though some clients may request formal qualifications.
